Alexey Belyanchev

He is widely known in narrow professional circles. Russian photojournalist, deputy editor-in-chief of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

He has been in photojournalism since the 80s of the last century. Over the years he worked in the largest Soviet and Russian newspapers: "Soviet culture", "Izvestia", "Vechernaya Moskva". He shot in "hot spots": Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Abkhazia, Chechnya, Palestine. In the 90s - in the pool of the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin. He collaborated with the world's largest photo agencies: Associated Press (AP), Reuters, European Press Photo Agency (EPA), France-Press.

He has a number of photojournalistic studies and real exclusives to his credit, including interviews with fashion legend Pierre Cardin and a series of materials from the "meeting of the millennium" - negotiations between Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia and Pope Francis in the
airport of Havana (2016).

He is a participant and a jury member of numerous photo contests. He is an ex-teacher of Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is the laureate of the Moscow city prize in journalism (2014). 

Last October the first personal exhibition of Alexey Belyanchev was opened in the national house of photography of the city of Porto (Portugal), located in the building of a former prison. The opening of the first solo exhibition in Russia has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic from April to approximately September of this year.
